Just A Reminder About Illness
With cold and flu season coming around, we just wanted to remind that you can cancel your lesson if you need to. Cancelling your lesson by 7:00pm the night before the scheduled lesson makes you eligible for a makeup lesson. Once a semester, you are allowed an emergency cancellation at any point 1 hour before your scheduled lesson time. This cancelled lesson will be eligible for a makeup lesson as well. We strongly urge parents to keep their children home if they are sick with "flu like" symptoms. Rei at the front desk is there to help you reschedule your missed lesson(s).

Our music computer lab has many fun and informative music games for our students to use before or after their lesson. However, occasionally, some of them move through all of the games and/or just want a bit of a break from them. So instead, we've found, that a number of our students are drawing amazing works of art in the paint program. There were so many great ones, that we thought it would be fun to share them with you. So we've posted them on our student blog.
CLICK HERE to see them for yourself. You might even see your OWN work of art up there.

THE RIPPLE EFFECT: Art Auction October 24th, 2009 4:00pm - 9:00pm
A team of diverse artists to work with recycled materials recovered from the Clackamas river to inspire sustainable lifestyle choices. The project is ran hand-in-hand with They Love Clean Rivers, an emerging non-profit formed from an annual river clean up. For the past 6 years they have been taking volunteers down the Clackamas cleaning out thousands of pounds of trash left from recreational river users. In 2008, we recovered over 6,000 lbs of trash, which was then sorted for recycling and art.
The art show provides a venue for local artists to display creative solutions to help decrease our carbon footprints. Through this exhibition we auction of the art 50% to supporting the individual innovators of this art, and 50% to We Love Clean Rivers.
